Reducing recidivism is at the heart of everything we do. Recently, Trousdale celebrated the graduation of nine individuals, four of whom were the first graduates at the facility to complete the Persevere program – a computer coding course designed to provide justice-involved individuals inside and outside of prison marketable skills they can use to find employment.
"I would tell each and every inmate who has the slightest spark of wanting to join any program that there is no such thing as learning too much, and the more you know the more of an asset you become," said George, an inmate at Trousdale. "I plan on getting out and giving back to society."
