CoreCivic has recently teamed up with the Maverick City Music Initiative through a partnership that aims to celebrate second chances. This collaboration with the Maverick City Music Initiative will open new opportunities for returning citizens to feel seen, heard, understood and validated before and after their release from prison.

Recently, residents from CoreCivic reentry facilities and their families had the opportunity to attend a Maverick City Music concert to celebrate the start of their reentry journey. These residents have been released from prison and are currently undergoing a transition back to their communities.
