CoreCivic is committed to providing those in our care with the tools they need to succeed once they’re released. That’s why we invest heavily in evidence-based programming designed to give CoreCivic residents a second chance once they ultimately return to their communities. Since 2014, more than 8,700 individuals in our care have received a high school equivalency diploma, and more than 28,000 have earned certifications in high-demand fields like computer coding, diesel maintenance, and carpentry. Last year alone, 33 individuals in CoreCivic facilities earned college degrees.
