The CoreCivic Foundation held its 32nd annual Charity Golf Classic on Oct. 5 in Old Hickory, Tennessee. The Charity Golf Classic raised $532,000 this year – funds that will go to a group of 31 non-profit organizations supporting formerly incarcerated individuals, victims of crime and abuse, and underserved youth. More than $7.5 million has been raised for charity since the event's inception in 1991.
"For over three decades this event has enabled the Foundation and its supporting donors to have a meaningful impact in our communities," said Tony Grande, CoreCivic Charitable Foundation Chairman. "Throughout the Greater Nashville area non-profit organizations are working valiantly every day to meet the growing needs of many. Supporting our non-profit partners helps ensure they can continue to provide the critically important resources and care that are vital to our communities."
