Reentering society after prison is one of the most daunting transitions a person can make. CoreCivic’s Ocean View facility in San Diego helps reduce recidivism by linking 450 residents back to their community. Staff there help residents with job placement, job skills classes, parenting classes and substance use disorder counseling, among other programs. These efforts help residents make the most of a successful reentry.
