Charlotte Collins, Warden

Facility Leader: Charlotte Collins, Warden

Charlotte Collins was named warden at T. Don Hutto Detention Center in May 2017. Previously, she served as warden at Nevada Southern Detention Center and Elizabeth Detention Center. Before becoming warden, Collins served as assistant warden at Elizabeth and program manager and chief of unit classification at Bartlett State Jail. She joined CoreCivic in 1989 at Venus Pre-Release Center after serving four years with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a correctional officer and correctional counselor.
