Grady Perry, Warden

Facility Leader: Grady Perry, Warden

Grady Perry was named warden at South Central Correctional Center in December 2018. Previously, he was warden at Hardeman County Correctional Center. Perry began his career with CoreCivic in 1992 as a correctional officer at South Central, where he also served as a senior correctional officer, shift supervisor, and assistant chief of security. He was later promoted to assistant warden at Silverdale Detention Center. Perry has served as warden at Otter Creek Correctional Center, Lee Adjustment Center, and Coffee Correctional Facility. He served 13 years in the Tennessee National Guard.

Community Activities

South Central Correctional Center supports several local organizations; High School Boys and Girls Soccer Coaches; Wayne County Chamber of Commerce; Clifton City Chamber of Commerce; Dixie Youth Baseball Board for Wayne County and coaching positions; Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squads; Family's First; Elders and Deacons of local churches.
