Facility Leader: Jason Snow, Warden

Jason Snow was named warden at Citrus County Detention Facility in June 2024, after serving for more than two years as assistant warden at Red Rock Correctional Facility. Before that, he held various roles of progressive experience at several of our Arizona-based facilities. These roles included chief of unit management, assistant chief of security, unit manager, assistant team commander, and shift supervisor. Snow joined CoreCivic in 1999 as a correctional officer at our Central Arizona Detention Center. Prior to joining CoreCivic, Snow spent more than six years working in public services as a police officer with the Kearny Police Department and security specialist with the United States Air Force.

Local blood drives; Key Training Center Telethon; American Cancer Society Walk-A-Thon; Muscular Dystrophy Association; SERTOMA; Chamber of Commerce; Big Brothers Big Sisters; Citrus Leadership Council; Crystal River Lions Club; and Inverness Kiwanis.
