Facility Leader: Robert Garcia, Facility Director
Robert Garcia was named facility director at Austin Residential Reentry Center in November 2020. Garcia began his corrections career with CoreCivic in 2004 as a correctional officer at Eden Detention Center, where he also served as correctional counselor, case manager, quality assurance coordinator, unit manager and shift supervisor. He transferred to Crossroads Correctional Center as TDY shift supervisor, then to Adams County Correctional Center and Leavenworth Detention Center as shift supervisor. He was promoted to operations supervisor at Austin Residential Reentry Center in July 2019. Garcia holds a bachelor's degree in communications and public relations from Angelo State University.
